Record of Achievement

Our four level Record of Achievement Program offers the aspiring professional a complete astrological education. Four levels of course work are offered and must be earned in the order listed - Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced and Developmental Studies. Certificates are offered at the completion of each level as follows:

1. Accomplishment of Basic Astrological Principles

2. Astrological Competence

3. Astrological Achievement

4. Astrological Excellence

Earning Certification:

In order to earn astrological certification at any of the four levels offered by the LCAS, the following conditions must be met:

All required courses must be taken and passed successfully for a particular series. Each required course earns a student 2 points. Two additional points must be earned from "Special Electives" for each LEVEL. For example, to earn the Level I Introduction to Astrology certification, you will need to take the five required courses in that series, plus earn two additional points from the Special Elective courses. To earn Level II Astrological Synthesis certification you would need to take the five required courses in that level plus earn two more points from the Special Electives. You cannot apply the same points from Special Electives courses you used to earn the Level I certification to earn the Level II certification. This holds true for Level III Advanced Astrology, and Level IV Developmental Astrology certification.

Earning Points:

12 points are required for each level to receive certification. 10 points from required courses and 2 points from Special Electives. Eight-week courses earn 2 points. Four-week courses earn 1 point. All other points are earned as 0.2 for each hour in attendance. All points earned require satisfactory completion of course.

Grading: Grading is on a pass/fail basis for points. Grades are evaluated on homework assignments, quizzes and a final examination. A passing grade is required for accumulation of points in the Record of Achievement Program.

Testing: Exam testing outside of the class room setting is available for students who believe they already have a significant level of beginning astrological skill therefore taking a class would not be necessary. Exam testing is available for Series I courses only. Review sheets are available for each course. A fee is charged for the exam. Upon successful passing of the exam, points will be applied to the students grade report.

Cost for each test and the accumulation of points is $35.00. A $5.00 deposit is required. Upon receipt of the deposit, a review sheet is sent along with notification when the test will be given. The balance ($30.00) is due when the test is given.
